Donating to the Synagogue

The Synagogue for the Arts is a modestly-sized congregation with limited assets. Donations are always welcome and are invaluable in supporting our diverse and welcoming services and programs. And donating is a mitzvah!

The Capital Campaign

Synagogue for the Arts is currently conducting a major capital campaign to fund urgent repairs and renovations of its exquisite building. The effects of age and the elements have resulted in damage to the roof and outer shell of the Synagogue's structure and have caused disruption of services in our beautiful sanctuary. Immediate preservation of the structure is essential in order to help us maintain the use of the sanctuary and ensure the safety of our congregation. A second key objective is to redesign the interior of the sanctuary to maximize both ritual and performance functionality.

Your generous, tax-deductible contributions to the capital campaign will help ensure that Synagogue for the Arts continues to provide its full range of religious and cultural services without further interruption. May we go from strength to strength.

Synagogue Funds

We are glad to receive contributions to any of the Synagogue funds, which include:

Yom Tov Yeladim Fund: For ShabbaTot and other children's programming on Shabbat and holidays, as well as Shabbat Yoga.	Donate to this fund online
Youth Education Fund: Funds and scholarships for school and other youth educational activities.	Donate to this fund online
Youth Group Fund: For youth group and teen activities.	Donate to this fund online
Adult Education Fund: For classes, lectures, and other educational activities	Donate to this fund online
Bima Fund: To repair Torahs, covers, and other ritual items, and for honorariums for guest cantors and rabbis.	Donate to this fund online
Siddur Fund: For purchasing prayer books, chumashim, megillot and other ritual books. A book plate noting the donor and honoree will be included in all books.	Donate to this fund online
Matzah Fund: To provide Pesach foods for the needy.	Donate to this fund online
Kiddush Fund: To support kiddush on weeks when there is no sponsor.	Donate to this fund online
Simcha and Memorial Funds: For synagogue activities.	Donate to this fund online
Book Of Remembrance: You may also make a commemorative donation to the SFTA "Book Of Remembrance" which contains the names of your departed loved ones.	Donate to this fund online
